Sunset Neighborhood Center
We are excited to announce that the former Renton Highlands library has been transformed into a neighborhood multi-service center. The building underwent major renovations and will now be able to provide much needed services for the community.
Funds for this renovation came from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, City of Renton, and the State of Washington Commerce Department Capital Budget along with Renton Housing Authority. This building will meet LEED certified energy efficient building standards.
Partners that will provide services are: HealthPoint, Neighborhood House and Valley Cities and St. Vincent de Paul Centro Rendu. Areas of the building will be used for both physical and mental health services, dental, educational classes along with a large meeting space for the community.
Currently, only the Health Point Clinic is open at this location.
